Coach Simoneau grew up playing basketball and developed her passion for teaching at a very early age. Both of her parents had successful careers as Educators. Coach Simoneau graduated from Clyde High School in 1999, after graduation, she began her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University, where she later became a student assistant for the Texas Tech Lady Raiders basketball program. As a student assistant, she played a key role in helping the Lady Raiders reach a Big XII conference championship and an Elite 8 appearance in the NCAA tournament.

After graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in Exercise & Sports Science with a minor in math and education, she got her first coaching job in Marble Falls, TX in 2004. At Marble Falls High School she coached the JV team and assisted with the Varsity team. Marble Falls made a State Tournament appearance in 2007. In the fall of 2007, Coach Simoneau became head coach of the Gatesville High School Girls Basketball team. The team accomplished 2 playoff berths and 1 district championship under her guidance.

Her most recent coaching stop was at Stony Point High School, where she was an assistant coach for Coach Allen, for three years. The two met while Simoneau was the head coach for the girls at Llano High School while Coach Allen was boys head coach at Llano High School. Coach Allen and Coach Simoneau built great chemistry and a solid program at Stony Point High School by accomplishing (1) Area and (2) Regional-quarterfinal appearances, winning over 80+ games in their three years together.

Coach Simoneau enters her 12th year of education and she is really excited to be a part of the Ranger family. Coach Simoneau is an accomplished coach as well as an experienced veteran teacher who specializes in math. She prides herself in being able to teach and guide students both on the court and in the classroom.
